Smells Like Canada
Ok, that sounds a little strange, but it’s true.
When I was younger, there were quite a few years where my family would go to Canada for a week of camping. During those times it seemed like there was always smoke in the air. Somewhere there would be a fire burning. The cool part was that it was always good wood smoke, like a campfire not a grass fire.
Well, today I woke up to a smokey haze in the air. We drove through it last night on our way back from Hazen. We assumed it was from Canada but we weren’t really sure. Now, this morning, I heard that is was from Canada.
Weird how smells can take you back in time.
Below is a pic of the fires currently burning in Canada. Since today we have a wind from the Northwest, it looks like that smoke has traveled many miles.
