image There is an article on Geeks Are Sexy that sites two Gartner (yes, that Gartner) Vice Presidents as claiming that Microsoft Windows "is in danger of collapsing".  One of the reasons for this "collapse" they mention is the difficulties of the popular OS to respond to changes in the industry.

They also talk about the advances in technology such as virtualization that contribute to MS Window’s troubles.

The best part of the article was the graphic to the right.

    Yup already saw that. Added so much credibility to Gardner that I’m pondering a subscription to their service!
