Here is what the list consisted of:

1. Searching for file formats (filetype:pdf)
2. Google Scholar Search (site:.edu)
3. Dictionary (define: local) It works for abbreviations also (define:SOA)
4. Display the time of any location (time denver)
5. Display the weather of any location (58579 weather)
6. Live sport scores (cricket) -doesn’t seem to work for basketball
7. Calculator (37 * 42)
8. Compare currencies (1 USD in INR)
9. Track stocks (stocks:MDU)
10. Find faces (add imgtype=face to the URL)

I was familiar with with a few of these tricks. This gives us a whole new tool for searching.
